Learning at Masters Level, with an Emphasis on Practice-Led Research

NEBOSH was delighted to announce at this year’s Graduation, a new educational partnership with the University of Hull
The partnership will see both organisations co-operate to offer a range of masters level qualifications in Health, Safety and Environmental subjects.
The new MRes in Occupational Health and Safety Management, the MRes in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management and the MRes in Environmental Management will be delivered through distance learning and will be available from September 2013.
Chief Executive of NEBOSH, Teresa Budworth said: “We’ve already received a considerable amount of interest from professionals who want to take these new qualifications which are open to those who hold any NEBOSH Diploma. “
Teresa continued: “It is imperative that people can continue to study should they want to improve their education and as an Awarding body we’re dedicated in supporting further learning. The Master of Research qualifications have been designed to complement the learner’s career through research directly relevant to their own work.”
Professor Stephen M Kelly, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering: “The University of Hull is delighted to extend its long-standing and successful relationship with NEBOSH to include this very exciting new development in postgraduate training and research in health, safety and environmental management.”
The University of Hull, which is working in partnership with NEBOSH to provide the degree programme, is consistently ranked in the top ten mainstream English Universities by the National Student Survey.
