Wednesday, 29 January 2025
NEBOSH, the National Examination Board for Occupational Safety and Health, has partnered with global beauty brand L’Oréal for the third year running to encourage and enable greater diversity within the health and safety profession.
The 2025 ‘NEBOSH L’Oréal International Bursary: Enabling women in health and safety’ offers learning opportunities for women who want to enter or progress within the profession. Ten women, based internationally, will be chosen to receive paid-for study and assessment fees for the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
Fianna Lynn won the Best Candidate Award for the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals in 2024 and is a member of the Bursary panel. She says: “It’s an honour to be part of the judging panel for the NEBOSH L’Oreal Bursary. This is a fantastic initiative to support women who are committed to furthering their education and improving workplace health and safety.”
Applications for the ‘NEBOSH L’Oréal International Bursary: Enabling women in health and safety’ are open from 29 January to 27 February 2025. Applicants will be asked why they aspire to work within the profession and how they feel their studies will benefit their professional development. Bursary recipients will be chosen by a judging panel, including Fianna, who work in the profession.
