NEBOSH has welcomed Idong Usoro as a new trustee to the charity’s board. Idong is a seasoned board executive and technology leader with experience across a number of sectors. He has collaborated or worked with leaders in over 100 organisations, overseeing and delivering innovation, business, technology strategies and transformations. He also holds academic qualifications in business and computer science.

Idong’s professional focus is on strategy, driving technology maturity and digital transformations with boards and executive teams. He maintains deep sector expertise in building and delivering change through Enterprise Architecture and data in both regulated and unregulated industries for established and growing multinational businesses.

Idong's extensive expertise and leadership will be invaluable as NEBOSH nears the second year of its 2024-2027 strategy, which includes technology transformation as a core building block.

Rob Hull, NEBOSH Chair, said: “I welcome Idong’s arrival on our board of trustees. He will bring new insights at a time when we are engaged in significant strategic developments.”

Idong added: “I am delighted to join the NEBOSH board at this exciting, pivotal juncture and I look forward to working with the executive to build on top of the organisation’s remarkably successful journey so far, to transform and realise its future global potential."
