NEBOSH announces ten winners of 2024 NEBOSH - L’Oréal International Bursary

The recipients of the second ‘NEBOSH - L’Oréal International Bursary: Enabling women in health and safety’ have been revealed.
Global beauty brand L’Oréal partnered with health and safety organisation, NEBOSH, to offer a bursary which enables women to pursue a career in occupational health and safety. The recipients have doubled this year to offer ten women, based internationally, paid-for study and assessment fees for the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
The NEBOSH - L’Oréal International Bursary attracted over 400 applications from women around the world who want to develop their learning, careers and positively influence workplace health and safety.
The judges said that the winners showed exceptional passion and a genuine commitment to health and safety. The judges were drawn to the applicants because of their emotive stories and the desire to help make the world a safer place. The ten winners represent countries from Italy, Nigeria, Uganda, USA, India, Switzerland and Brazil. They are:

One of the winners, Deborah Adojor said: “I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the NEBOSH - L'Oréal International Bursary Committee for considering my application and awarding me the scholarship. This opportunity will allow me to make a meaningful impact as a woman in health and safety.”
