Why are you only taking bookings online?
By handling bookings online we are able to receive and process your booking immediately, without the risk of invitations going missing or being delayed in the post. The information provided is also much more accurate and you will receive an automatic confirmation of your booking.
Before leaving the Ede & Ravenscroft Graduation Hub, you will be prompted to create an account, so that you can review, amend or cancel your booking in the future.
Is it free to attend?
Yes, the NEBOSH Graduation and Awards Ceremony is free to attend, and there is no additional charge for guest tickets.
Please note that NEBOSH is not liable for other costs relating to your attendance, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, gown hire, photography, or costs incurred due to cancellation.
How many guests can I bring?
To ensure that as many diplomates as possible can attend, we have set an initial booking limit of two guests per diplomate.
After bookings close on 18 July 2025, one additional guest ticket may become available. If any tickets do become available, we will notify all Diplomates and update our website accordingly. Please note that we cannot guarantee the availability of additional tickets for either ceremony. Additional tickets will be offered on a first come first served basis.
If additional tickets do become available, please submit your booking as soon as you receive notification by email as they will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
Can children attend?
Yes, all family members are welcome. However, we do not recommend bringing children under five years of age as your guests will be seated in the ceremony hall for a long time.
If you are bringing a young child we ask that you advise us when you book. We can then allocate your guests seats near an exit so they can leave the hall during the ceremony with minimal disruption if necessary. Children under the age of two will not count towards your two guest tickets, as it is assumed that they will be seated on an adult’s lap.
Please note, as diplomates are seated separately from their guests, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult other than the diplomate.
Pushchairs cannot be taken into the ceremony hall, but we will reserve a space for it in a secure area near the hall. This area will be staffed during the ceremony should you need to retrieve any items from your pushchair.
Please note, that if the behaviour of your child is disruptive to others, they and the accompanying adult will be asked to leave the hall. However, they will be alerted when you (the diplomate) are about to go on stage.
Can you help me with my visa if I need one?
We recommend starting your visa application as early as possible as the process can take a long time.
NEBOSH can provide a letter to confirm your invitation to our event, which can be used as evidence as part of your visa application. It is then up to you to apply for your own visa.
- Please view the list of nationalities that require a visa to travel to the UK: Visa national list.
- To apply for your visa you will need to apply online; Apply for a Standard Visitor visa.
Please note that NEBOSH is not liable for any costs if your visa application is refused. The invitation to the ceremony in no way implies any financial responsibility for you during your visit. If you are declined a visa that was supported by a NEBOSH invitation letter, no further support can be provided.
If your friends or family will be attending your graduation and need a visa, they must also complete the Standard Visitor visa. They will also need a guest visa letter, and your booking confirmation to verify your invitation to the Graduation ceremony.
The final date for requesting a visa letter of invitation from NEBOSH is 18 July 2025.
Will I receive tickets before the event?
When you book, you will receive a confirmation email from Ede & Ravenscroft ([email protected]). On the day when you register, you will be given your name badge and allocated seat tickets for you and your guests. We recommend having a digital copy of your confirmation with you on the day for reference.Where can I stay?

Where can I Park on the Day?
Book your Parking
We are pleased to offer you free parking in any of the campus car parks if you register for a permit in advance. When booking, fill in your details and type LXUTI into the promo code box (please make sure there are no spaces in between characters or before the first character. You must TYPE this code and not copy and paste). Adding this code will ensure that your total changes to “£0.00”.
You do not need to print and display your parking permit, as the car parks at the University of Warwick use cameras to automatically verify whether you have a valid permit. Please note the cost for all day parking is £25 if code LXUTI is not used. Fines will apply if you do not make a parking booking online.
Disabled parking
There are limited designated disabled bays on campus and in University of Warwick car parks. Please follow the above process to obtain a permit in advance and display your blue badge when parking in a disabled parking space.
The closest disabled parking spaces are just behind the Warwick Arts Centre, in the Conference Reception car park. The best route to these spots is to follow the one way system along the Academic Loop road, turning left onto University Road and then first right down the side of the Faculty of Arts. There are multiple accessible parking spots at this location. Disabled parking is also available on Health Centre Road, which is a left turn further along University Road. The University’s interactive map is a useful resource.
Where to park
Car parking on campus is extremely limited and spaces fill up very quickly. We suggest you allow plenty of time to arrive before your and consider car sharing or public transport where possible.
We recommend using Car Park P1, Kirby Corner. The postcode for the Kirby Corner car park is CV4 7JJ and it can be accessed via the Kirby Corner and Gibbett Hill Roads. Members of the NEBOSH Team will be located near the Kirby Corner car park, and there will be directional signage from this car park which is a 5-10 minute walk from Warwick Arts Centre.
By registering for parking using the code above, you will be able to park in any of the campus car parks, as shown on the interactive map. Fines will apply if you do not make a parking booking online, or if you park in bays allocated to residential parking.
Are there special arrangements for people with access difficulties?
Both buildings have full lift access. However the majority of seating in the ceremony hall is tiered and may be challenging for those with mobility difficulties. We have therefore allocated a seating area on the flat section and the first few rows of the tiered seating of the ceremony hall for guests who have difficulty with stairs. These spaces are extremely limited and must be requested when you book. If the person who requires the disabled space can no longer attend, please let us know so we can reallocate the seat.
If you have mobility difficulties yourself, please tell us when you book so that we can allocate you a seat close to the stage and arrange any other assistance you may need.
Please note, there is a short walk between the ceremony in Warwick Arts Centre, and the drinks reception in the Rootes building.
Can I wear my own gown?
No, to attend the NEBOSH Graduation ceremony, you must hire a gown from Ede & Ravenscroft. This should be done when booking your tickets.
What should I wear underneath my gown?
We recommend wearing smart, comfortable clothing.
It is important to remember that from the elbow down your arm will be visible against the gown, particularly if you’re wearing a long-sleeved shirt, so you may want to wear a jacket or long sleeves underneath your robe. Although most gowns and hoods now have velcro, it’s still a good idea to wear something with a buttoned front as it will help the hood neckband to sit better.
We recommend you and your guests wear comfortable shoes.
Can I defer my place?
If you cannot attend the 2025 ceremony but would like to be invited next year, please complete our deferral form.
Please note that your Graduation place can only be deferred twice.
What if I can no longer attend?
On or before 18 July 2025: If you need to cancel your place or a guest ticket, you will need to log back in to the Ede & Ravenscroft Graduation Hub to update/cancel your ticket(s).
After 18 July 2025: If you need to cancel your place or a guest ticket, you will need to log back in to the Ede & Ravenscroft Graduation Hub to update/cancel your ticket(s).
